When it is time to renew, the old PropOne coating needs to be removed back to bright metal before re-applying.
For removal this can be done chemically with our PropOne removal system. Our Silicone Remover will remove the old PropOne Clear Coat and our Paint Stripper will remove the old PropOne Primer.
Alternatively, mechanical abrasion such as with a grinder or sandblasting can be used also. Metal working abrasive disks made of silicon carbide work well for removal and will not damage the metal.
